At the edge of the wild and rugged Delta de l’Ebre, set against a backdrop of mountains, lies the fishing village Sant Carles de la Rapita.
The fishing port of Sant Carles de la Rapita is one of Catalonia’s most important. Originally founded by Rey Carlos III and used as a trading port - it boasts one of the largest natural harbours in Europe.
